Welcome to the Auxiliary to the National Auctioneers Association

The Auxiliary to the National Auctioneers Association was founded on July 13, 1951, in Decatur, Illinois. For over 60 years now, this group, changing and evolving with the times, has unselfishly and continually provided camaraderie and educational opportunities for it's membership and financial and moral support for the National Auctioneers Association.

Presently the Auxiliary’s primary goals are to support the National Auctioneers Association, help educate the members of the Auxiliary, and to provide annual educational scholarships for it's members children and grandchildren.

Some of the projects we have undertaken to accomplish this goal are as follows:

  • Sponsor the annual Auxiliary Luncheon and Fun Auction at the NAA Conference and Show.
  • Provide annual educational scholarships for the children and grandchildren of Auxiliary members in good standing.
  • Provide a professional speaker to address the needs and goals of the Auxiliary membership at the annual conference and show.
  • Provide a roundtable discussion forum with relevant topics open to all auction support team members at conference and show.
  • Established the Hall of Fame award to recognize outstanding leadership and service within the Auxiliary membership.
  • Provide funds to support NAA projects such as the “Investing in Our Future” campaign.

Any person who has reached the age of 18 shall be entitled to join the Auxiliary upon recommendation of a member of the National Auctioneers Association or a member of the Auxiliary to the National Auctioneers Association in good standing.

The Auxiliary is the source for promotion and advancement of the auction team in partnership with professional auctioneers.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Auxiliary is to embrace the entire auction team, to maintain high ethical standards, and to serve as a catalyst, creating education and networking opportunities associated with the auction method of marketing.
