Auxiliary to the National Auctioneers Association

Hope this message finds everyone doing great.
I just wanted to let you know about a few things that have happened since C&S.

1. The Board of Trustees long range planning meeting is Oct 15th -17th in
Nashville TN. All board members are planning on being there as well as NAA
President Mark Rogers. There are several agenda items such as membership,
website, scholarship, C&S 2011, NAA Auxiliary quidelines review and
revision, board members & Treasure for 2011, educational opporunities from
the auxiliary at C&S, If there is anything you feel the board should discuss
please feel free to send me that info. My direct email is

2. The Board decided not to renew our management contract with Executive
Managaement Resources and one of our board memebers Lucinda Terrell is
taking over the responsibility for membership. We realize that there have
been many questions about dues how they are paid when etc. Lucinda has met
with Hannes and membership at NAA to try and make it easier for auxiliary
members to pay their dues and the appropriate person get the credit. We plan
to get our membership current and accurate and then we will be letting
people know when their dues are due and the ways they can pay them. I know
this has been a long term issue but we hope we can get a handle on it this
year and move forward This has been a personal issue with me and I hope that
during my chair we can get a better sysem in place for our membership .

3. Our website is not current at this time board member Kim Ward has taken
back over the updating of the website since Executive Management Resources
\is not handling that. Lori Jones Vice Chair is gathering some data for our
long range planning meeting and hopefully we can get that issue resolve
during our meeting. We want the website to have accurate and current info at
all times so as members you can go there and know what is going on with your
association,

4. I am so excited about our new board members which are Sheila Jackson from
IN, Cindy Soltis-Stroud from Texas, and Phyllis Coffey from IN. They will
bring new perspective and insight to the board. I have been on this board
for 6 years and am so priviledged to serve as chair this year I have met so
many dear friends thru this association and especially by serving My goal is
to have every member active in this association. Please considering serving
as a board member everybody has something they can give. We also need
members to serve on committees thru the year not as chair but as at large
members. we need members to be active as C&S with our booth, fun auction,
luncheon, business meeting everyone can do something Please contact me or
any of the board if you would like to serve you WILL NOT regret one moment
